Kristen Sweeney

Owner & CEO

Kristen Sweeney has built her career around the belief that great ideas—and the people who power them—deserve a bigger voice.

Over the course of her career, Kristen has seen the same challenge repeat itself across expert-driven organizations: teams with deep knowledge struggle to communicate their ideas in a way that’s consistent, credible, and useful to their audiences. Content initiatives stall under the weight of approvals, overburdened subject-matter experts, and unclear ownership. The result is missed opportunities to demonstrate expertise and build trust—and content programs that never reach their full impact.

As founder and CEO of Every Little Word, Kristen has developed the Expert-Led Content approach to solve these problems at the source, helping organizations translate internal expertise into high-quality content that builds trust and differentiates their brands.

A content and communications strategist with over 15 years of experience, Kristen has worked with more than 100 organizations and led content strategy for initiatives across the life sciences, higher education, consulting, and professional services sectors. She has ghostwritten books on leadership development, built content functions from the ground up, and helped thought leaders expand their platforms.

Kristen has a BFA in Musical Theatre and an Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Medieval & Early Modern Studies, both from the University of Florida. She has a Master of Music degree in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory.

Kristen writes about the realities of running a business on her Substack, hosts a podcast on the art and impact of communication, and shares insights regularly on LinkedIn.
