Introducing Expertly Said: A Podcast Produced by Every Little Word

At Every Little Word, we think a lot about communication—not just what to say but how to say it. In the simplest terms, that’s what marketing is all about: communicating in the right ways to earn attention and build trust.

Our work is rooted in the belief that great ideas—and the people who power them—deserve a bigger voice. Especially at a time when audiences are hungry for real substance (not more filler).

One way we’re giving our audience something substantial to chew on is with Expertly Said, a new podcast on the art and impact of communication. Hosted by Every Little Word founder and CEO Kristen Sweeney, each episode features a conversation with someone whose work revolves around how people connect with, understand, and influence one another.

Listen to Episode 1.

Think: communicators, marketers, executives, educators, therapists, coaches, internal comms leads, brand strategists, writers, and more. Anyone who needs to communicate strategically in their professional lives. If your first thought is, “That could be anyone,” well—that’s part of the point.

Sharing Great Ideas with the World

We’re producing Expertly Said for the same reason we create expert-led content: To share great ideas with the world. We believe in the power of ideas—to open our minds, foster connections, and lead to positive change. Those ideas come from people who’ve done the work, made the mistakes, and honed their perspectives along the way.

Podcasting provides ample space to explore those perspectives. We’re not interested in pithy soundbites or going viral. Instead, we want to slow down and dig into ideas that matter: the ways we communicate, lead, and make sense of the world around us.

Our podcast strategy reflects how we work with clients. Every episode becomes part of a larger content ecosystem, repurposed into blog posts, newsletters, Substacks, and social media posts to demonstrate how content can have the widest reach and make the most significant impact.

What to Expect from Expertly Said

Episodes are about 40-55 minutes long and follow a light structure:

  • Intro and context
  • Guest’s story and perspective
  • Deep dive into One Big Idea
  • A recurring lightning round we call The Last Word

The tone is smart but accessible. It’s curious, warm, and occasionally a little snarky. We keep it real, and we keep it moving.

Who’s on the Mic?

Our guest lineup for Season 1 includes a professional communications coach, the CEO of a marketing company, a field communications manager at a pharmaceutical company, and many more distinguished guests.

Each guest brings a fresh perspective about communication, and we’re excited for you to hear what they have to say.

Listen to Episode 1: Brian Krogh on Stitching Across the Seams

In this conversation, Kristen talks with executive communications coach Brian Krogh—founder of BK Presentations and lead facilitator at Leadership-Link—about how technical experts can communicate like leaders. With experience spanning sales, ministry, and higher education, Brian brings a unique perspective on what it takes to connect across different industries and audiences.
